Winemaking: From our north facing slopes high on the valley side of the property, this fruit captures the full sunlight and cool maritime breezes. Low yielding cropping levels to ensure maximum sugar and flavour ratio. Hand-picked, basket pressed with fermentation in open vats to ensure gentle tannin extraction. Barrel aged for 18 months in 100% Grande Reserve French Oak barriques with the new oak component being 35% with 2, 3 and 4 year oak old barriques.
Minimal intervention when bottled.
Tasting Comments: -2020 was another great year, giving us all the hallmarks of a Margaret River Cabernet: crème de cassis, plums, the full berry family – both red and black – and brooding oak (the oak is brooding because the fruit dominates it). An unfiltered, full bodied red wine driven by the rich black fruits and finishes with hints of burnt sugar. Characteristic of unfiltered wines we have a big mouth feel and long finish.

Minimum order quantitiy is six bottles (either all the same wine, or a selection to make a mixed box). A 10% discount is offered on purchases of 6 bottles, and 15% discount for 12 bottles of more.
