Soils: Black loam over limestone
Winemaking: Hand-picked, basket pressed in whole bunches, malolactic fermentation in barrel. Aged for 18 months in10% Grande Reserve American Oak and 90% Grande Reserve French Oak used with the new oak component being 35% with 2, 3 and 4 year old oak barriques.
Minimal intervention when bottled.
Tasting Comments: | The colour is a deep red with a black heart, the nose is full of plum jam, sarsaparilla, meadows of violets, dark chocolate covered cherry ripe bars & burnt toffee from the small amount of American oak used. The dark sweet fruits drive the wine with red currants, cherries & raspberries. This is a full bodied structured wine with great balance and an oak & tannin expression that compliments the fruit beautifully. The finish is endless and lasting like your true love.

Minimum order quantitiy is six bottles (either all the same wine, or a selection to make a mixed box). A 10% discount is offered on purchases of 6 bottles, and 15% discount for 12 bottles of more.
