Tasting Comments:  | The colour of this wine reminds me of a night sky in the Arctic Circle (obviously in winter), dark purple with hints of deep lilac towards the edges. The nose is packed with dark berry fruits, baked plums, dollops of raspberry jam, liquorice and hints of the charcuterie platter you are about to devour whilst drinking this wine. Being unfiltered, the sweet fruits explode in your mouth with almost a tactile quality. It wouldn’t be a Shiraz without the secondary notes of white pepper, baking spices and the constant burnt toffee sugar from the small amount of American oak. If you like your stuff your mouth full of food then this is the wine for you; full bodied, well balanced tannins with a chompy/crunchy finish.
